Review: Make Up Revolution Stick Foundation

I had seen this foundation advertised and I just could not wait to use it. I'm usually a liquid foundation kinda girl but a stick foundation always crossed my mind as its more compact and also it kinda feels like your painting your face which I love to do. A lot of people rave about the more higher end stick foundations such as the one from Hourglass or Make Up Forever but I tend to lean towards drugstore make up as growing up with not a lot of money, I learnt to value what I had and sometimes is not always about the price tag.

The Make Up Revolution Foundation Stick is presented well with nice structured packaging with gold writing which makes it that bit more sophisticated. Once the lid is off, you then just twist up and the stick pops up. It is not stiff at all, it is very creamy which I prefer as then it doesn't tug on the skin. It has quite a good shade range but I'm sure could probably feature a few more colours.

I use shade F1 which is the lightest shade for my pale skin. I apply this over primer in strokes over my cheeks, chin and forehead. I do feel like it tends to sink into the pores in my nose. It also doesn't look like it gives good coverage in certain places but that might be because of how I apply it. Maybe a beauty blender might be better for application than a paddle brush.

Have you tried this foundation?

My Time In Palma Nova, Mallorca

I've not long been back from Palma and I'm still sad that I'm not there currently. I was there for 3 days as a little surprise for one of my friends who turned 21 and we all did so well to keep it a secret. We stayed at the Sol Beach Hotel and it was the perfect location for food, shops and a good old karaoke bar and a few Sex On The Beach cocktails. It also did a nice breakfast and had the perfect view of the beach and the ocean.

There was a beautiful pier close to our hotel and it was the perfect place to capture lots of pictures and also take in the amazing views.

On Sunday 15th, we was lucky enough to be able to lay on the beach and have a sunbathing day (we all got sunburn). It was lovely to feel the sun on my skin and paddle in the sea.

I had an amazing trip here, thank you to all the people I went with on this holiday
